Today, is the link-up for Letters to Pearl {a collective tale of hope}. If you are here, I would like to thank you on behalf of the Brown family for sharing your words, thoughts, and hearts with everyone. If you are unsure of the purpose of the link-up, you can read my post on it here, and if you haven't yet had the opportunity to meet Pearl, you can read more about her here.
Link-up will be at the bottom of this post. Please link directly to the post with the letter you wrote.
When I think of all that you taught me, I realize that maybe meeting you wasn't chance. Maybe there were a lot of us that needed you and your lessons.
Please know that you are deeply loved by so many, including your incredible, God-fearing parents. In so many ways, on so many days, life can seem unfair..but you are a reminder that in so many ways, on so many days that it is a beautiful gift.

Dear Pearl,
I met you by chance, the way you "meet" so many things on the internet. I often pass on reading so many blog posts, there just isn't enough time in the day, but I'm glad I didn't pass on reading the letter your momma wrote.
You've taught me to never stop fighting.
You've taught me that doctors don't know everything.
You've taught me that you can thrive against insurmountable odds when you rely on the Lord.
You've taught me to be thankful for what I have.
You've taught me that my problems are miniscule.
You've taught me that tomorrow isn't promised.
You've taught me that today is a beautiful opportunity...to live greatly, to love deeply.
You've taught me to deeply breathe in every moment.
You've taught me that the almighty, infinite God cares deeply for each of us.
When I think of all that you taught me, I realize that maybe meeting you wasn't chance. Maybe there were a lot of us that needed you and your lessons.
I first heard about you when you were a week old. You were my hero, a miracle to me, even then and I know you will continue to be for the rest of your life. I cannot wait for the day that you know what a blessing you have been. I'm not sure which side of heaven you will learn this lesson on, but I know you will discover it some day.
Please know that you are deeply loved by so many, including your incredible, God-fearing parents. In so many ways, on so many days, life can seem unfair..but you are a reminder that in so many ways, on so many days that it is a beautiful gift.
Thank you for teaching us so much.
Psalm 139:14 -- I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
